My stab at Cake-Making pays off!

My very first fondant cake, and quite a labor of love! I made this castle cake for my little girl's first birthday party. Seven days of work later, here is the finished product!

 You can see I sort of gave up trying to make it look perfect when I got to the towers at the end! :)

They call these next three cakes the "groom cakes", an optional idea themed toward your fiance's interests (hockey, playstation, etc.). It usually sits on the table next to your regular wedding cake.

Colurful Wedding Cake Ideas

I just love finding new ideas for my brides who are planning weddings.  I would LOVE to be a wedding planner.

My new hobby is to look at cakes!  I went through and picked my very favorites and I think I just LOVE color, and it also appears that I like stripes, polka dots, and squares.
