Where to Go for Bridals and Engagements in Utah

Need help deciding where to go for your Bridal or Engagement session?


Check out some of my favorite locations to shoot bridals and engagements, and maybe get an idea for the style you are going for.  I love finding new locations to shoot at, so if you have a great idea for your session let's go for it!


Photography at the Great Salt Lake by Moments to Remember
The salt lake is a beautiful place for pictures, and sunset is the best time of day to do them. So if you're looking for an evening shoot, this is the perfect place to go. Sun is setting around 9 pm now, so I start the shoot at 8 and go for an hour.

 Abandoned Building by Saltair: Photography by Moments to Remember

This building and train cart are a great spot for a more grunge-themed photo shoot.

Photography at Utah State Capitol by Moments to Remember

The capitol has such a great variety and perfect for shooting indoors when the weather is bad outside.  Its beautiful architecture make for a stately and elegant photo shoot.

Downtown Photography by Moments to Remember
If you're looking for an urban-city themed photo shoot, there is a huge variety downtown SLC to choose from.

The Salt Lake City library in downtown SLC has some awesome architecture and great variety.

Vintage Car Photography by Moments to Remember
If you've got a retro/vintage car you'd like to take pictures with, they make the perfect photo prop.  There are also several companies who rent these vintage cars by the hour.

Natural Beauty: Photography by Moments to Remember
For natural beauty, we might venture through the canyons or other fields and parks.  Daybreak and Murray park are great.  I would also love to take pictures at the Jordan River Parkway if you want to try something new.

Garden Park Ward Photography by Moments to Remember
GPW is really popular and a great place for pictures, but sometimes has several photographers that we will need to work around.

The peace gardens has a huge variety of places for pictures, with European style gates, wishing well, archways, and bridges.  This used to be a hidden secret, but is becoming more and more popular.

Wheeler Farm is an extremely popular place for photography because it has so many great backgrounds to choose from.  If you're going for a western feel or just want the  brick wall backgrounds, this is the perfect location.
