They went to a regular grocery store bakery and asked the cake department how much it would be to decorate this plain white cake in these colors. The bakery wouldn't tell them "how much" the cake was until they told them what it was for. Of course they are going to charge MUCH more for a "wedding cake" than they would for a "Birthday cake" or some other event. So their secret was to just say it was for a Party. They got this beautiful wedding cake for less than $40.
